In bloom is another God Save the Queen seeding (sdlg 053011_002). There is no splotch or water damage on the petals, which (I think) is treasured among lavender and red daylilies.

Daylilies (Paradise Royal Purple and a seedling)
Paradise Royal Purple (Matthew Kaskel Seedling x Bella Sera; D. Trimmer, 2009) greets me this morning with its huge (6.5", although registered as 5.75"), deep purple saturated bloom!
